Scholarship Policy

Scholarship Policy of Shree N. N. Mehta Memorial Educational Trust is a mandatory procedure as it carries all the terms and eligibility criteria. We have made this Scholarship Policy for student’s connivance only. Please note this Scholarship Policy is applicable for students from Mahuva and territory and students from Parekh College. To apply for the Scholarship, you must be eligible for it. Below is some information which will help you to understand our policy.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This Scholarship Policy is not applicable for student's who are going out of country for higher studies.

Scholarship Policy Requirements

  • Student shall pass 12th standard in previous year.
  • Student & their parents must be residing in Mahuva and Territory since minimum of five years.
  • They shall produce a copy of admission letter given by college/authority.
  • Two recommendation letters of their 2 leaders of their or government authorities stating that, they are economically poor.
  • Farmers shall produce documents of land owned by them.
  • Farmer owning less than 10 Vigha land shall be considered as economically poor class.
  • Villager shall produce recommendation letters of two village leaders.
  • Student should not be getting scholarship from government or any other organisations.
  • The maximum scholarship we will provide to medical, Para medical and engineering students will be 50% percent of their academic fees or Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 40,000/- whichever is lower and also subject to the merits of the students.
  • Each student who is asking the scholarship for next year will be eligible only if their performance is satisfactory in last year examination.
  • The students studying in BCA / BBA College will be eligible for scholarship maximum up to 50% looking to their financial status and merits or physical disabilities.
  • The committee has a right to decide whether to approve, reject or extend the scholarship for any student.
